Clash Essential

New CLASH: The big (r)evolution! With its 27.5-inch wheels, long travel and completely revised geometry and kinematics, the CLASH cements its place as a do-everything bike. Bike park, enduro, chilled or more technical rides... It always steps up no matter what! For 2021, the CLASH changes significantly. The geometry has been reviewed in depth. Uphill riding position is enhanced thanks to an elongated top tube and a straighter seat tube angle. Downhill, the longer reach will bring stability when things speed up, whilst the short stem will ensure a manoeuvrable and playful bike through slower sections. Even if it's definitely intended for riders of all shapes and sizes (from S to XL), with 27-inch wheels the CLASH is a particularly strong option for smaller people. Thanks to its new kinematics, the CLASH feels even more at home on the steepest freeride slopes. The icing on the cake, like its big brother the FURIOUS, the CLASH features a kinematic adjustment. This setting gives priority to either sensitivity (Sensitive) or dynamism (Dynamic). No need to make many concessions. The Sensitive mode is intended for DH/Freeride days when you need that comfort and grip. Dynamic mode is ideal for smoother tracks or jump sessions with friends for example, when you're looking for energy and flow.Though the CLASH doesn't change aesthetically, we've delivered a whole new frame; its behaviour and level of performance takes a huge step forward. Not surprising for a CLASH after all!About the CLASH ESSENTIALThis CLASH has it all. Its 'Heritage Green' paint job is already the favourite of many of our riders such as Andreu LACONDEGUY, Kyle STRAIT and Brendan HOWEY!FOX and SHIMANO are in control of this CLASH ESSENTIAL. FOX takes charge of the suspension with its new enduro fork, the 38 Performance Grip with 180mm travel. As its name suggests, it has 38mm diameter tubes for more precision when things get serious. The rear shock is the FOX Float DPX2 Performance which ensures grip and dynamism. A nod to its modernity, this ESSENTIAL also has the new SHIMANO SLX 12-speed gears and 4-piston SLX brakes with 203mm discs. Finally, DT SWISS E532 rims will take you everywhere thanks to their reliability.
