META POWER SX - Self Shuttle ModeSince it arrived in 2020 the META POWER SX has given many riders the chance to (re)discover ebikes in a very different light. It's a 27-inch model with long travel that extenuates pure riding with the best trajectory, so there's no more excuses on hardest, steepest sections! For 2021, this platform has improved in many areas and all are proving to be even more effective! This META POWER SX is now equipped with the new SHIMANO EP8 engine. With a torque of 85 N.m, the power output curve has been improved to result in a bike that's smoother and more responsive to pedal strokes. The positioning of the motor is such to enable the lowest battery position possible, meaning much better weight distribution. A new engine mount combined with a new generation engine guard, both optimise space and reduce the risks of catching the ground. Finally, a new 630Wh battery increases capacity a lot! This pushes the META POWER SX into the realms of being more of a 'shuttle bike' - it climbs without a fuss for as many descents as your arms can cope with! The new 2021 version also sees an increase in travel to 180mm at the front and 165mm on the back. With 27.5 wheels the bike feels at ease through short steep chutes where a lot of downforce is applied. The geometry has been designed accordingly with a long front and a slacker steerer angle. Everything is held with a 40mm stem to provide excellent downhill positioning, where this bike is completely at home. Longer in length, it also gains in stability on all types of terrain. The new sharper and more defined lines of this META POWER SX equal improved performance.META POWER SX RIDEWith a 'Sand' finish and full black components this META POWER SX stands out and blends in at the same time!Beyond its looks, this model also features the new SHIMANO EP8 engine and a 630Wh battery which significantly increases its capabilities. Up front, the new ROCKSHOX ZEB fork with 180mm travel and 38mm upper tubes will give you all the precision you need to keep your lines, even when braking hard. On the back we find the Deluxe Select+ shock which offers a wide range of adjustments to optimise the suspension in relation to body shape, riding style and type of riding/terrain. For powerful and durable braking, the SRAM Guide REs are equipped with 200mm rotors. Finally, the SRAM SX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain will help you go further and tackle the toughest obstacles with ease.
